In our test laboratories in Puchheim, near Munich, as well as in Gelting and Rosenheim, we provide state-of-the-art testing and simulation facilities on an area of more than 10,000 square meters.
The focus here is on services such as electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), radio testing, electromagnetic fields (EMF), product safety, laser, luminary, photobiological safety, burning and flammability testing, product certification, e.g., for medical devices in accordance with (EU) 2017/745 (MDR), functional safety, homologation, battery testing, cybersecurity, and environmental simulation.
Within SGS, we have a large number of European and International Certification Bodies / Notified Bodies. Our experts and auditors in Germany will help you to ensure that your products are placed on the market in compliance with the relevant legislation.
With an efficient combination of tests and audits, SGS can ensure that the requirements of several certifications are met together – e.g., in accordance with the EMC or RED directive, ISO 13485, or the Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
